Annual Employee Engagement Surveys Do Not Work

  2. Annual surveys generate huge amounts of data, which are usually text-heavy and are difficult to analyze.

  1. Establish a metrics strategy that matches your company rhythm (processes & values)
  2. Learn and understand the metrics used
  3. Determine who gets feedback and how data will be analyzed and shared
  4. Communicate to employees about the goals of the system, levels of privacy, and how their feedback will be used
  5. Provide trainings for employees
  6. Take actions that can be measured, recorded, and communicated
  7. Continue to learn from collected data and feedback
